The Paris Climate Conference’s “REDD+” agreement lacks the recognition and enforcement of crucial resource tenure and human rights for forest communities


Millions of forest people, like this thriving Lacandon Mayan child, could lose their homelands and livelihoods because the “REDD+” agreement does not yet protect their resource rights nor human rights, but endangers them.
